Your education provides you with everything to start grooving adults.

If you love to move and can connect to music and rhythm and would like to share The GROOVE Method® in your community, you are in the right place.

No, as long as you love to move your body to music, and you are confident to stand in front of people to provide a class, you are in the right place (and confidence builds with practice!).

We do not teach people how to dance, but provide a space for people to tune into their own creativity and authenticity through movement.

You can start with Groove classes right after your training weekend, we highly recommend it, everything is still fresh.

Your first 6 classes will be your practice classes, to put into practice what you’ve learned during the education.

These classes will be in your own community.

You'll then submit one of your classes to us (online video submission).

Once we receive your practicum submission, you’ll hear from us within 10 days with feedback and a certificate upon approval.

The World Groove Movement™ provides you with everything you need to get your 6 practice classes going; video tutorials, sample playlists, marketing materials etc.

You have 1 year to finish up your practicum and submit, due to Corona virus, we'll be extending the practicum time of 1 year and will start your 1 year when the situation is back to normal and venue's are open to provide classes.

Yes, you’ll get a certificate after you’ve completed your practicum, which certifies you as an official Facilitator of The GROOVE Method®.

Yes, we are certified providers with ACE and AFAA.

Together with your initial training weekend, you will receive a 90 days temporary license to provide Groove classes.

After these 90 days, to continue providing Groove classes, your basic license fee is US$260.00/year (different payment modalities are available).

Community centers, Fitness / Yoga Studios, outdoors, basically any space you can get your groove on, as well as online!

You just need a big enough room to dance in, a sound system, your playlist and perhaps insurance or a permit depending on your community (country) or location.

No, the GROOVINmyLIFE workshop is an immersion into the Groove philosophy and how to integrate it into your daily life. It’s a combination of grooving, meditations and group activities, centered around personal-growth.

These workshops are available for everyone and is not a training.

This workshop does not cover techniques on how to facilitate The Groove Experience but it’s a great entry point into the philosophy and community.

We highly recommend taking a GROOVINmyLIFE workshop with Misty or one of our Master teachers.

Groove Young At Heart online workshop to provide Groove classes with seniors.

Groove for Kids online workshop to provide Groove classes with Kids (ages 4-14).

Groove Method Fit online workshop to direct your Groove classes more into the fitness environment.

Groove Designer on-site training weekends to deepen your connection with music, learn to create moves to your music that fit and work worldwide.

We highly recommend attending one of these workshops, trainings or our retreats every 2 years.

The Groove Designer Training weekend is continuing education.Once you are an official and licensed Facilitator, you get to attend these fun weekends.You're receive a deep understanding in creating your own Groove moves to music.

The weekend is packed with testing and playing with music.Misty also touches on advanced facilitation skills. Facilitators will have the opportunity to Groove each other and showcase their “Groove” ideas.It’s a super fun, creative and collaborative process.Prepare for dancing all weekend!!
